New Shipping Services Enhance Global Connectivity
ONE launched its new West India North America (WIN) service at the Port of Charleston, marking a significant expansion of maritime connections between India’s West Coast and the U.S. East Coast. The service was inaugurated with the arrival of the ONE Modern on June 26, 2024, at Wando Welch Terminal. With this addition, South Carolina Ports now offers five weekly services to India, enhancing trade and connectivity between the two regions.
PITT OHIO has expanded its service offerings by launching next-day less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping lanes connecting Columbus, Cincinnati, and Toledo, Ohio, to Buffalo, New York. Along with its LTL services, PITT OHIO also provides a range of ancillary services, including warehousing, drayage, fleet management, and freeze protection, giving customers comprehensive solutions for their logistics needs.
ZIM has introduced a new premium service linking China and Los Angeles, known as the ZIM Central China Xpress (ZX2) service. Commencing operations on July 3, 2024, the service offers a fast 13-day transit time from Ningbo to Los Angeles, providing an expedited shipping option for businesses looking to reduce lead times on this crucial trade route.
