EDB Organizes B2b Meetings Between Sri Lankan Exporters and Russian Business Delegates

A high-level delegation from the Sverdlovsk Regional Government of the Russian Federation visited Sri Lanka for a three-day program from 23rd to 26th January 2023. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, Her Excellency Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage organized a B2B meeting between Sri Lankan exporters and the Russian delegation that was attended by over 40 Sri Lankan exporters. This event provided an opportunity for Sri Lankan exporters to connect and explore potential collaborations with Russian partners and learn about the business climate and the opportunity to expand trade relations with Russia. The EDB is planning to organize more promotional events in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia to increase trade relations between the two countries.
