Sri Lanka Expo 2026: A Platform for Export Growth and Investment
Renewed momentum has hit the “Modern Canvas” of the export sector with the official launch of Sri Lanka Expo 2026. Scheduled for June, the Expo aims to showcase the island’s export capabilities to over 1,500 international buyers. For the logistics and warehousing sectors, this event is a “Towering Tree” of opportunity, as it directly promotes the maritime and logistics services that enable these exports.
The Expo will feature sectors ranging from apparel and gems to boat building and ICT. From a supply chain perspective, the focus is on building “Buyer Confidence” through transparency and reliability. As Sri Lanka sets a national target of $36 billion in exports by 2030, the logistics sector must scale up its capacity to handle the projected volume of high-value goods. The Expo serves as a catalyst for these industries to align their standards with global market expectations.
