JNPA to Launch India’s First Automated Mooring System at GTI Terminal

The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) announced plans to launch India’s first Automated Mooring System (AMS) at its Gateway Terminals India (GTI) facility. The AMS technology uses a vacuum-based system to automatically secure large vessels to the berth, reducing the need for manual rope handling.
